The staff at Cedar Crest talk a good game but that's all it is is talk.

Let's start with the maintenance. Tried to get our screen door fixed for over a year and finally gave up as it was obvious they were never going to do it. They only replaced our falling apart water heater after it shorted out and started a small fire. Our air conditioner went out on a Friday in the heat of summer and we were told to call them back after the weekend.

As for the staff in the office, they will tell you anything they think you want to hear to get you to rent but forget about them actually doing anything once you sign that lease.

As for safety, they got rid of their security. The result is the parking lots have turned into gang hangouts with music blasting into the early hours. I even looked up on the Kansas State goverment website and found out there are a number of registered sex offenders living in the complex. Not a safe place to live.
