i lived at cedar crest for two years. i liked the apartment itself a lot. it was clean, lots of room, and located close to shopping and work.

the bad part was the neighbors. cedar crest must accept anyone who fills out an application. in the two years there the apartment next door and the one below it had probably 3 tenants each, all of them no better than the scum of the earth.

the police were in our building every weekend night due to noise complaints, domestic violence, drug dealing, and car break-ins. one night i heard a loud knock next door and looked out the peephole to see riot police with shotguns aimed at the door.

the last few months i noticed more and more young mexican men hanging around outside all day and night, and one of the neighbors mentioned her car was broken into and her husband's motorcycle had been stolen. when my lease was up i loaded the uhaul and moved far away.

it's a shame such a nice apartment complex in a nice neighborhood has such horrible tenants.

I have lived here for over a year now and really the only complaint I have are the -------- that seem to be everywhere. They live next door to me and I honestly don't know how many people actually live there because I see different people walking in and out of there every day. They have no respect for their neighbors; they leave trash everywhere, beer bottles and such, they play their loud music nonstop, they park in reserved spaces and they congregate outside every night drinking and playing crappy music at high volumes. It probably be cheaper for me just to move to Mexico.
