Horrible staff

I moved here in January of 2006. When we looked at the apartment they showed us a model which was very nice. The girl helping us was also very nice. I was told that my one bedroom would be in the same condition. What a mistake to believe them! When I moved in the place had no ceiling fan and it was on the basement level. They told me it would have a fan and that it would not have to take any stairs to get to it. The carpet, shower, fridge, walls, windows, patio sliding door, doors to rooms, and many other things were nothing close to the models. Our sliding patio door can not stay on its track cause its been beat to ---- by other people. I've called maintence mulitple times about this and all they'll do is put it back onto its track. I've told them multiple times that just cause its on the track doesnt mean it can slide open and shut more than one time. (bottom line it needs replaced) The staff is friendly just not very helpful. The maintance is a joke. We have had an ice storm for 3 days now and the sidewalks are still not cleared. I have called maintance several times and they always do a half-ass job. The laundry facility is disgusting. Half of the time when you use the tanning bed it doesn't have cleaner in the bottle to clean the bed. Bugs, spiders, and insects everywhere. Light had been out in the mailroom for over a couple of days this summer. Some -------- drink their coronas and leave the bottles on the steps and outside on the groud all the time. Can't wait to see Cedar Crests staffs response. You would think they would be better off spending their time helping their tennents then writing responses on this board. Can't wait to move out next month. When it came time to renew my lease would have gone up $40 from last year. Why the hell would I want to pay an additional $40 a month for an apartment and neighborhood that is quickly depretiating in value and a staff that is horrible!
