I give it two thumbs down, the bedroom door of my apartment won't close they can't fix it without putting up new walls and hell will freeze over before that happens. The bathroom door knobs don't work properly, I have no grass outside my patio and I have a dog.The living room ceiling looks like it has fallen through once before. All in all If your looking for abuse move on in, I will never live out here again.

It has been almost 24hrs since the initial report was made in regards to the the leak in my apartment. I now have 3 leaks in the ceiling and 2 pots and 3 towles to help absorb the water. Cedar crest does not have an emergency/after hours maintenance number, in fact they have no phone number at all, so I was advised. My fiancee has spoke with them twice now I have spoke with them once. They have absolutely no intrest it seems to take care of this situation. The ceiling and walls now have extensive damage and will need to be torn down and replaced, there is no telling how much mold damage has been done. This time around i will upload photos for all to see and if the problem is not fixed today I will update this review tomorrow.

We have corrected the leak situation in your apartment home. I apologize for your frustration! I am the Manager and have been on vacation and unaware of your problems and frustration. I received this e-mail this morning and my staff went to your apartment to correct this situation immediately. Our office number is 913-341-2488. There are directions on how to reach emergency maintenance when you call the phone number after hours. Please call or come by my office if we can be of any further assistance or you have any other maintenance request. My goal is to have happy, not frustrated residents. Miki

what about the doors and the potential for mold? I would report them to the better Business Bureau and file a complaint with the Overland Park Building Inspectors office. Also make sure you document all contact with the office and when they come into your apartment. When the mold makes you sick or the walls clapse you want to be ready. Because they will lie lie lie to get out of trouble and try to turn it around on you somehow. BE PREPARED!
Sincerely, someone who has already been put through hell by Cedar Crest and got out!
