I live in Cherbourg, across the street from Colonial, same management. The buildings are older and drafty, but the heat is electric so it could be worse. We had some soft spots in the floor and our bathroom was flooded twice due to the upstairs bathroom. Both times the maintenance came out the same day, but it took a while to actually fix. The price was reasonable for the very spacious apartment. It was hard to childproof due to open floor plan. The fixtures, cabinets and carpet were all new and clean. There was lots of parking space (uncovered), pools were good, and the staff was courteous. There are 3 reasons we chose not to renew after 2 years. 1)There are a fair amount of younger 20's roommate types who party Wednesday through Sunday. 2) No washer and drier and we're sick of sharing in the basement. 3) No real space to walk our dog aside from little strips of grass between the parking lots. Overall the price was good, especially for the size and location.
