Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I moved into this apartment because it was large and at a decent price. Since then, they did some repair work on the foundation which caused cracks in the walls at the ceilings and now I can't shut the bedroom doors. The blower motor on the A/C had to be replaced which didn't take long - once they got around to it. They have done some minor landscaping and are now raising the rent $100/ month stating that it's within average price range for apts this size. Where that might be true, the lack of w/d in the apts and the fact that 2 bldgs share 4 machines, which are never available, and that the parking lot is without 3-4 of it's spaces when raining b/c of a huge puddle...well, it just doesn't seem worth the extra money to lease again. Unfortunately, it's about the only apt complex near my kids' school. I've not had any problems with my neighbors...some were out in the parking lot late at night during the summer, but only on the weekends and it didn't really bother me. The light in the corridor goes out every couple of weeks and you can't see a darn thing walking up to the apartment at night. They are large apts, and in decent shape...I'm on the second floor and have had no bug or mouse problems...it's older and there are no updates, but it's a decent place if you need a place quick. I'd definitely shop around and compare...
