I am unfortunately just entering my 2nd lease at my current apartment.
The parking, as other reviews have mentioned is not sufficient at the Cherbourg Apartments.
I have been greatly disappointed with the quality of the maintenance work that my apartment has required. Within the just over a month my hot water went out 4 times. It took multiple phone calls and a lot of time out of my schedule in order to get a temporary "quick fix" that ultimately resulted in the water going out again and again.
The sound proofing of the apartments leaves a lot to be desired. Any time one of my neighbors leaves I can hear everything that transpires between the time they open the door until they make it to the bottom of the stair case. Every single step, ever single word.
The weather proofing of the windows is also not great. I lose a large amount of heat through the window in my bedroom. Enough that I don't even notice that the heat is ever on in my bedroom.
I would definitely not recommend this apartment complex to

My advice, not to you, but to everyone....when looking for apartments, do NOT base your final decision upon PRICE points. From my experience (my job is to review apts throughout the USA), most apartments in this price range will be exactly as you described. If you're expecting better sound proofing, new (or newer water heaters), larger maintenance staff (for staff/resident ratio), storm windows, enery efficient seals, etc. unfortunately most people will have to seek a newer community (it's not the staff's fault of how older buildings were built) and people will have to be willing to pay for the newer,modern conveniences.
