From the reviews for Crowne Chase and those for other apartments, it seems like there is really no place in Overland Park that someone could live in. Every apartment has problems...every one of them.
I agree with a previous poster, that most of these reviews look like they are coming from tenants that either didn't pay rent or was charged for trashing the apartment. If you don't pay rent on time, then what right do you have to say anything about anyone else's behavior' I have never been late and not to mention, you get 5 days to pay, so its plenty of time. I have lived here for a few years in a two bedroom and even though management companies has changed, the manager has not. So it is not the management.
I was in the office the other day and the girls, who are always very accommodating, was trying to be nice to someone even though that resident was upset and was being rude. If it was me, I would have given them a piece of my mind.
From what I have seen, the staff goes above and beyond. Every phone call I make to the staff, even on weekends is return promptly. I have seen staff members out picking up trash on weekends, which I know is not their job. And the other day, I actually saw one of them sweeping out a garage and getting it ready while all dressed up. I don't even know how many times I've called to have them check my apartment because I thought I left something on.
My utilities are always much lower than my cable bill. The office is responsive to my requests, from hanging a ceiling fan to my dryer problem.
It baffles me why people post and do not say specifics besides that they were rude, could it be because you were rude first' I know the residents here, and many of the problems stem from them. Afterall, we are right by JCCC. Just read a few posts down, you will see what kind of people live here. Some ------- backed into my car and didn't do anything. No integrity at all. I guess our problems all lies with the people here, not the management.
Yes, sometimes Maintence is slow, but it always gets done. I am not happy to have to pay for Renter's Insurance, which is new, but it is really not that bad, yes- money out of our pockets.
We do have problems with parking, but freaking property has a crapload of carports, so we ended up renting them...they were only less than half price.
