Potholes have multiplied horribly... NO parking... Put name on bogus waiting list for carport or garage just to have new tenants get spots... Didn't change air filter between tenants (It was black!)... Bathroom drains back-up into dishwasher (Hair that was sent down drain ends up in dishwasher! EEW!)... Air/Heater SO loud when running and sends smoke smell from other apartments thru vents... Shower drain backed up when I went to fix it I pulled out endless hair (wasn't ALL mine I had only lived there 3 months!) NASTY!... Stupid auto closing feature on front door causes everyones door to slam when they go in and out (REALLY LOUD!)... Bird poop EVERYWHERE from noisy geese that make this their home... My brand new car got hit in parking lot... Car was broken into and things stolen (Cop told me when I called that they have lots of issues with car break ins here and at 3 Lakes)... Office Staff rude (Especially manager, threatening!)... Noisy parties (people on ground floor thru all their beer cans up on my 3rd floor balcony... Windows hard to open... Wanting to buy out of lease but they lied at our signing saying that they don't offer that feature! I can go on forever! lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji

No one lied to you!! Read your lease. Please call the office if you have issues with maintenance or otherwise, they will be happy to get your problem fixed. We do not have lot of issues with car break ins check the overland park police website for crime stats. Geese are a protected animal and nothing can be done to remove them.

My boyfriend lives here and his car got broken into and stolen from on his FIRST WEEK there...and they told him the same thing...but other than that, he loved the place. Lots of ants though...

I really wrote this in April 2007, but I wanted it to post my user name so I updated it! So no response for all the other ---- that I said? Exactly... cause it is the TRUTH! And as far as the car break ins that is what the officer said... you want his name... you can discuss it with him?! Crime stats show for the location as a whole... maybe it doesn't have the numbers like downtown KCMO, but that doesn't mean specific locations don't have issues... would you like the news article about the 7 eleven across the street getting robbed recently? I didn't say anything about removing the geese but your maintance staff can do something to keep ---- from accumulating on everthing! Maybe a little hose action! And I read my lease very well. When I signed I was told "just check no because we don't offer that feature" when we got to the part about buying out. Then I found out that YES you can, but not now that my roommate checked no. I had never rented before so I fell for it! Oh and did I mention the water that comes out of my faucets it visibly dirty?! Not rusty... but dirty! I buy bottled water cause it is gross to drink.

I could not agree more. The manager is a ----. She hates people who tell it like it is and exposes the truth. I think all previous renters and the ones who are still there should expose Crowne Chase further. It was a freaking nightmare living there. The manager made a few of my friends feel like crap when they were visiting me. She is two-faced and tells you one thing and then turns around and says something different. Like she is bi-polar. Crowne Chase is EVIL! And to the management at Crowne Chase you can suck it!

Crown Chase is a hellhole in Overland Park. Manager stinks, agents suck you in and they act like they dont know you. Crabpeople of Chase and I dont think they deserve a CROWNE...Or they will keep trying to chase the crown. Which they will never have it, keep chasing loosers.
