Deer creek is such a joke.. good luck. You'll find that the staff is incompetant, the property is usually in disrepair and dont even get me started on the 'gated' community illusion that they sell you. The gates have worked 1-2 months in the past year. They don't even bother fixing them any more.
Our neighbors are noisy.. we have bugs and mice. DO NOT FALL FOR THE BAIT.

Clean your house more frequently and better, bugs and mice will go somewhere else. (Assuming the bugs and mice aren't just in your head.) Personally, I have yet to see a single bug when living here. My neighbors are quiet and any noise they do make is within the hours that it is allowed anyhow. I can't speak for everyone here but trust me, the walls here are MUCH more sound proof than MOST apartments at any cost. I agree, the FRONT gate rarely works but all of the other gates are always closed. But does a gate really keep people out? Think about it for a second... If someone wants in, they'll get in regardless. The gate simply gives the feeling of security. However the front entry has high definition cameras on both sides that record 24x7 so anyone coming in or out of the main entry will be recorded. I've never had a problem with the staff and the only repair that I have called in since moving in was repaired within 12 hours. (non-emergency issue) My ONLY complaint is that the windows and doors on my unit have poor weather seals and I had add some weather strip and window film to keep the temperature more stable indoors. Of course this isn't any fault of the apartment as just about any home will need extra attention during cold windy winters. I completely disagree with your review and ratings.

Clearly another staff member posting here :-) Good to see Donna and crew hard at work. Let me clarify. My Apt is very clean.. the mice and bugs are occur to shoddy workmanship, poor build quality and lack of sealing the apt from the elements. My doors and windows are drafty, and the mice easily enter through multiple holes behind the refridgerator, and washing machine, and water heater.. and the list goes on. I'm at a loss for your bugs in the head comment... but I'll move on. The gates.. They wouldnt be such an issue however THE APT IS SOLD AS A GATED COMMUNITY.. sorry but if your ok with paying for something and not getting its value.. thats another issue. I pay my rent on time and I expect the amenities to be working. This is no different from paying you rent and not being able to park at your apt (which ironically is also an issue at deer creek). The gates are the biggest joke, I only wish I had found this rating site prior to moving into deer creek. I can only hope someone else finds this site and STAYS AWAY.

That's funny. The one at 139th has had mice--could it be the city's fault?
