I recently moved out of my apartment in teh Dunes at St. Andrews. While I was there I was pleased with my apartment overall. No complaints. But, when I moved I was stuck with a huge moveout bill.
One week before I moved out of my apartment I bought a puppy. Being a puppy he urinated on the carpet once or twice. Both times I immedicatly wiped up the urine with resolve. The Dunes charged me $750 to replace the carpet. That is ridiculous. I'm willing to bet that they didn't even replace the carpet. And, the carpet wasn't worth $750 to begin with.
AT THIS POINT I WOULDN'T TELL ME WORSE ENEMY TO MOVE INTO THE DUNES AT ST. ANDREWS.

i agree that their policy on carpets is b.s. the carpet there is defnitely NOT worth $750. when you first move in there, they have just cleaned the carpet and then as months go by spots slowly reappear from the pad underneath. 3 months in to your lease your carpet looks FILTHY and DISGUSTING like rain water is coming up through the carpet or something. and the office people do not want to do anything to help with the problem.
