Nice place as long as you don't get laid off.

The apartment complex is very nice and the staff was very helpful for the three months that we lived there. However, I was laid off and found a job in Iowa. Thus, we had to break our lease and then then things got very ugly!!! Read the lease carefully. If you break the lease you must pay back all "promos" and "consessions" they gave you. We ended up having to pay them over $2300 to break the lease for living there only three months. Each additional month that we lived there we would have had to pay them and additional $220. I also ask them to call me when a package arrived that was needed for my new job. It was delivered to my door. A neighbor brought it to them at the clubhouse but they never bothered to call. Also when we turned in our last months rent they did not bother to cash the check right away which ended up causing the check to potentially bounce and not allowing us to close our old bank account. If you want to live at the Dunes it is a very nice place but just make sure that you will NEVER have to break you lease because they will screw you to the wall and have no guilty feelings doing it!!!
