would not recommend this place to ANYONE! the staff is not concerned with your questions or requests. the maintenance team takes forever and it usually takes them 2 or 3 times before they get things fixed properly.watch out - one big thing is that the sliding glass doors even when locked can be pulled open!! if you just jerk on them hard two or three times it comes open!! the only way to prevent the door from coming open is to use the bar lock - which is a total hassle to keep putting there each and every time you want to use the door. maintenance was informed about this several times and after attempting to fix it twice they finally said well yeah the door just kind of is like that. you'll just have to use the bar to keep it locked.WHAT' EXCUSE ME' so it's okay for people to just have access to my apartment whenever they want'!'also the carpet is a big issue there. they have the carpet all nice and clean when you move in and then over time the stains and spots start to seep through the carpet and before long it looks FILTHY.
if you live on the bottom floor - PREPARE TO HEAR EVERY SINGLE STEP THAT THE PERSON IN THE APARTMENT ABOVE YOU MAKES!
in addition, parking is quite an issue at here as well. i would HATE to think what would happen if there was a fire in one of the apartments or someone was in need of an ambulance. they do absolutely no parking control whatsoever and let people park in fire lanes!!!! imagine if a loved one of yours was having a heart attack or something and the people parking in the fire lanes obstructed the ambulance and kept them from getting to a person in need of help!! and the office maintenance does NOTHING about it. SEVERAL COMPLAINTS have been made and nothing has ever been done! same thing if there was a fire - so much for salvaging any of your things. the fire trucks have no room to even begin to help out the situation because there are cars parked in their way! the whole complex would burn down!
all i can say, is when you are dealing with property management - ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
the ONLY good thing about the dunes is that the landscaping is pretty and the pool area is pretty. THAT'S ABOUT IT!
