I lived at Enclave at Town Center since December 2001, when it was managed by Oakwood. I was upset when Greystar took over in December 2002, but appalled when AMLI took over in January 2004. Neither Greystar nor AMLI know how to hire property managers that are worth anything. the manager for Greystar - was a total witch and brought her dog with her to work, who humped everybody and shat in the pool area, which she didnt pick up, but that is a long story not worth getting into...
When AMLI took over, i had already given my notice to vacate and moved out about 2 weeks after they took over. I had been in my apartment for 3 years, and after moving out and cleaning the apartment i received a statement of my deposit where they had charged me in excess of $350 for cleaning charges and for carpet replacement that Greystar had been made aware of the condition of when they originally took over. So the new assistant manager waited a month to send me the damage report, and they ended up filing my account with the attorney because they never heard from me... THEY SENT IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!! and the manager was apologizing for bad work, but she signed off on it. ANYWAY, i know 3 residents of that property who have since moved off, completely due to the change in management... they raised the rents for residents who have been there since the property was built, overcharge for people who move out, and overall it was not a good experience.
