I moved out of here about 6 months ago...Had it professionally cleaned and no damage...they tried to charge me 1500 on top of my 600 deposit. Quite frankly they are scam artists. There is also a big mold issue and they will never take ur phone calls. I had to shell out some serious dough to a lawyer before they would even communicate with me...and send all requests certified mail.

Peterson Companies has a bad reputation in this city. Look at their other complexes - none have very positive ratings. One leasing agent at another complex actually told me that their apartments had "deteriorated" after the previous owners sold to Peterson. My advice is document EVERYTHING!! Put requests in writing and make a copy. Make notes of who you talked to and when. Take pictures, too!

Mold issue is true. And, I can attest that this is not the first complaint about deposit refunds - some of the previous ones have been deleted from this site, I am not quite sure how or why. Parking is a problem.
