DO NOT rent from these people. The office staff is friendly, but horrible at returning phone calls. Maintenance requests go unanswered for several days. We had a leak in our ceiling that never did get fixed. The roof needed repairs and the maintenance people wanted to patch the ceiling before the roof was done being repaired. People did come to repair the roof, but still yet another leak appeared about 3 feet away, so obviously they didn't do a very good job. We had to live with a hole in our ceiling for several months.

In addition, do not count on getting your deposit back. First, they are horrible bookkeepers and likely won't even have note that you paid a deposit. Keep receipts for everything. Then, if they do find a deposit they will come up with bogus charges to make sure they don't have to refund you any money. They will call it "administrative fees" and it will conveniently be the difference in whatever amount of money they do owe you, so your balance due comes to zero.

While I lived there, a list was distributed to all tenants that listed nearly every tenant on the property, that tenants name, address, phone number, age, date of birth, how much they paid for rent, whether or not they had ever paid rent late and if they had ever had insufficient funds. The office staff will dodge responsibility since this list was given to the postal inspector, and he is the one that distributed it. But they are the ones that gave all of that info to the postal inspector, when all he requested was a list of tenants and addresses. This is a huge breach of tenants privacy.
