I agree that one of the worst aspects of living here is the service at the office. Such rude and uncaring people should not work in the industry, I work at a hotel and know how important customer satisfaction is. That said...I have lived here for a year now without any major problems. However, a few days ago we recieved a notice saying that the Essex Place billing company made a mistake for two months and now I have to pay the difference on my upcomming utility bill...shouldn't the company pay the bill since it was their mistake' I pay my rent in full and on time every month without exception, yet, even if I sign a new lease agreement my rental rate will increase...is this fair' or is it a classic example of the rich making their money from the poor' Essex Place is essentially kicking me out of my apt. by raising my rent to a rate I cannot afford (I'm already paying a considerable HOUSE payment and will have nothing to show for it). Of course all leasing agreements are scams, but ,just like insurance, some of us don't have much of a choice. Search all other avenues before renting at Essex Place!

Well you know the market goes up anywhere not just at Essex Place. It's a great place to stay I've lived here for 2 years and I love it.

Yes.. the utility company made a mistake, not the essex place. I had o pay it too but it was only a couple of bucks which was spread out in two months i think. You should know since you work for a hotel, that the staff is here to help us, i personally had some things that had to get fixed but the ladys in the office were very nice and proffesional and helpful.
