I have lived here for over 2 years and am counting the days, hours, minutes, seconds, etc. until I can get the hell out of here!

For starters, these people are little more than slum lords! We had a leaking shower (as in dumping water on the people below us) since the WEEK WE MOVED IN, and after over a dozen complaints & various attempts at fixing the problem (they caulked it, but that was it) it still leaked.

So here we are paying for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, but we can't use one whole bath. So we made do, thinking that these idiots couldn't figure out the problem. Until one day, when taking a bath, my toes hit a tile & pushed it straight through the wall. So now we're down BOTH baths.

Do they fix it' NO! So I finally complained to the district manager and threatened to sue. THAT got them moving...

When they came in to repair both showers, however, they found BLACK MOLD in the walls. I mean the drywall was COVERED in it. Explains why I've been sick for over a year & had vertigo (due to an allergic reaction) for FOUR MONTHS!

They replaced a tiny piece of drywall with greenboard (only the part that they HAD to pull off because the tiles were falling off the wall) and called it good.

So now I've got two working bathrooms, 2 years later, but I'm in an apartment that is slowly killing me. Management brushed me off when I brought that up & told me I could buy my way out of my lease if I wanted to.

The parking sucks, the neighbors are a joke (an idiot who dry fires a 9mm handgun at the kids in the pool, drug dealers, etc) and the outdoor lighting hasn't worked in MONTHS.

My advice' STAY AWAY! Management changes every few months anyway, and they're all dumber than a box of rocks.

YES!! I have posted pictures of my bathroom, that's in my bedroom! I also had the tiles fall in, in the main bathroom, and all they did was cover it up! This apartment complex IS joke. I actually got lucky with my neighbors though. They are very nice. There was seriously a guy that aimed a 9mm at the kids??? That is absolutely sickening! We are going to Cedar Crest. We have lived there before, and it is absolutely wonderful there. $670/month for a 2bed/2bath, and the washer and dryer is IN the apartment! haha!
