Hi, I'd like to comment on Four Winds. This website is a valuable resource, wish I'd known about it when I was shopping for an apartment. I've read a number of negative comments and I'd like to add something positive. I've lived here since March of 2007 and I've felt very comfortable. Moving into an apartment, I expected to hear noise from neighbors all the time. I don't hear much at all. Mostly just the neighbors talking as they pass my front door. The lack of noise from the people above and below me is surprising. The staff has been great. I've needed them twice, once when my ice maker stopped working and, just recently when I left my keys behind and needed to have my door unlocked. They took care of both issues promptly. The man that came to unlock my door was very polite. The best things I can say about this place are that it's a good value and the location suits me well. My apartment is not brand new.. but the rent is quite a bit cheaper than the newer apartments I looked at. The rent is very close to a couple of places that were much older. As for the location, I can get to both downtown and 135th and Metcalf within 15 minutes of locking my front door. The freeway access is perfect. All in all, these apartments have their pluses and minuses. I do want everyone to know that I feel comfy here. And, it's as good a value today as the day I moved in.
