I have been living in this complex since 2001. I have moved from one bed room to two bed room apartment five months back. After moving to new apartment, we have faced several problems. Carpet was not properly cleaned, kitchen was totally meshy -- oven burners were loose, bathrooms were not cleaned, and dryer was not working. We lodged complain on the day one; however, Highland Park office management did not take any action even after a month. I have visited Highland Park office another two times and only then they fixed half of the stuff. Initially we liked this complex when Lincoln was managing the complex. They were pretty good in maintenance and We had never complain against them, but now we find the management pretty irresponsible as they do not fix our stuff in due time. Three months have passed and they still have not fixed our guest room's roof, which was leaking due to rain. A bulb has fused four weeks back on our building stairs -- They did not change the blub yet. Two weeks back -- one water spingler was broken and water was flooding outside for three days -- nobody came fixed it during weekend. However, monday morning around 8:00am, they have stopped water for eight hours without notifying us. I have informed them that my wife is pregnant she needs water urgently -- they did not listen to me and asked me to send my wife their office. I don't like this apartment any more and just waiting for completing the agreement.
The point is that if we keep paying our rent responsibly every month, why can?t they repair our apartments and give us value for money'
