Just say no!

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
Let me preface by saying I have never recieved a warning, or eviction notice and am not on the most hated resident list. Nonetheless, it feels like I am living in a confinement home here. There are so many rules, regulations, and frequent uninvited guests that it doesn't feel like home here. The high turn-over staff assured me that I would always receive a notice if someone would be in my apartment (maintenance, contract work, etc.) and (in 2 years) there have been 4 times that I was not made aware, and in one instance encountered a very uncomfortable shower situation. Regardless, there are frequent visits to the apartments, with or without notice. The staff hired seem to be under 25 with no academic training or ability to critically think. You MUST fulfill every bit of your end of the novel-esque lease, but have no expectations of Price Management following through with theirs. And, one can always count on the sound of an obnoxious lawn mower waking them at 8AM sharp every Monday as a refreshing way to start the week. (Though, the grounds ARE always kept looking very nice.)Did I mention I found termites towering up my bedroom wall on my move-in date and had to call 3 times over the course of 2 weeks before the matter was finally addressed' When it comes to moving to Highland Park properties, make like Nancy Reagan and JUST SAY NO!
