I moved here from nebraska in 2001 and i went to see the apartment. when i toured, Leah, one of the lease agents, showed me this cute one bedroom that was all clean on the main floor. I moved down there at the end of july and my lease was not going to start until august so i stayed with friends thinking my cute little apartment was waiting for me. Moving day comes, my furniture is coming down with the movers and I go and get the keys. The apartment they give me is on the GARDEN LEVEL and there are a lot of little hiding places for mugger types. at the time i was a single girl who has had lots of big city experience. I was already pissed but got even more pissed when I walked in. There were dead bugs, flies, you name it. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom had mold. My cousin who was with me just walked around with her mouth open saying how sorry she was for me. I marched right up the clubhouse and withdrew my lease knowing i would rather take the $250 loss in deposit than live there. They wouldn't give me the available apartment on the main floor unless i paid ANOTHER $250! So thats $500 just in deposits. That place is a dump and be very forewarned that all the rich OP parents let their teenage kids live there at age 17, 18 before they go to college. TERRIBle.
