Two year resident

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
I've been living here at HR for about two years and am renewing for one last year. It's not that I LOVE HR, but it's extremely convenient to good shopping and highway access. HR has it's faults like any other apartment complex: yes...ants, spiders and silverfish can be a problem. But whenever I call they come spray pretty quickly. Insulation is pretty poor and my KP&L bill is always rather high...but honestly most of these complexes are built in a day and would rate about the same. Maintenance tries hard but can't seem to keep up with the vastness of the place. We were "renovated" a year ago and since then my cabinets are falling off the hinges and almost all of the drawers are useless b/c they are off the tracks. The main office told me they were not able to be fixed b/c of poor construction. That's a bite. The mowing and watering frenzy around here is REALLY loud and starts at the crack of dawn. BUT. The gym is decent and rarely crowded. The front pool (NOT the small one in the back....totally ghetto) is kept quite nice and it's a great party all summer. The people are easygoing and it's never terribly loud. Tanner's is right next door (literally...you can walk there in 2 minutes flat!) if you wanna' get your drink on without a DUI. Switzer runs adjacent to the complex with a great, long path to run/walk dog etc. and it leads right into the O.P. biking path. All in all....it's been just fine. It's just an apartment complex. They all come with their own particular issues. If you want something better buy a house. And if you want something worse move across the street to Casa Del Fuentes. It's a TOTAl ghetto. The life forms that crawl out of that place give me the chills and make me EXTREMELY happy to live at HR!!!!! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
