I moved into highland ridge July 5, 2007. The day I moved in, i found animal feces in my bathroom closet. Two days after I reported this, maintenance came out to clean it, but merely wiped it with a mop and left visual residues of urine and feces behind. I requested that they moved me, and after much fuss, they agreed to let me move to the apartment next door, which had severe damage in the ceiling from a water leak. Because of this, they said they would have a unit ready August 09. Yesterday, July 20, my air conditioning broke. Maintenance came out, changed the air filter, and said to wait 2 hours. I did, and when it still was not working, the office was closed, and emergency maintenance would not return my calls. It is now 85 degrees in my apartment and the smell of animal urine and feces is making me nauseous. This is the worst apartment experienced I have ever heard of, let alone experienced for myself. Avoid this property at all costs. It was bought by new management who did nothing but slap a coat of paint on dilapidated units. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
