They were OK, but glad to leave

The bedroom and bathroom were a good size. The layouts for the living room was HORRIBLE, and the dining room area was non-existant. It was a big plus that they come with their own washer and dryer, but all of the other appliances were old and crappy. I agree with the past review about the bathroom tile being exceptionally old and impossible to keep clean, we even took a toothbrush to them to clean the grout and had no luck. I don't know what was wrong with the drawers, but every drawer in the apartment (kitchen and bathroom) would constantly fall off the rail and be impossible to get back on.
We lived in one of the townhouses and they are not balanced for heating/cooling at all. Our upstairs was constantly sweltering, and no matter how much we ran the heater, we froze all winter. The doors and windows are exceptionally drafty.
Our neighbors were unbelievably loud, we reported them several times but nothing was done to stop them. We were woken up by loud, screaming fights nearly 3 nights a week for the last month of our lease. I also had to remove all of the pictures hung above my fireplace because their surround sound system was so loud it knocked the pictures off of the wall.
The leasing girls were exceptionally nice, but the apartment manager was incredibly difficult to work with and be prepared to get everything in writing, because you'll need it when speaking with her.
Honestly, it was not a horrible place to get us on our feet in the Kansas City area, but we are definitely pleased to be out and into a much better apartment now. I would just recommend to do your research and know what you're getting into. This was just our experience.

An attempt is made to address all of the residents needs in a timely manner once they are brought to our attention. I can be reached at ameyers@resourceresidential.com and would be glad to personally assist any needs that may arise from our residents. I appreciate the opportunity to take care of you, our valued residents. While our community was built in the late 1980's, we do have a fabulous location in the heart of Overland Park and numerous amenities for our residents.
