Highpointe Village

overpriced, but overall a nice place to live

I've lived here for a year, and all in all I enjoyed my stay, but $720 for a one bedroom apartment--even with all the extras--is just too much.
I've only had two small maintenance problems and the response time was good. The apartment itself is spacious with a lot of nice little touches (built-in computer desk, crown molding), and the staff is very nice and accomodating.
Some minor issues: you can never count on the "hot" tub to be hot, and the "heated" year-round pool is not always heated. Also the sidewalk gates require a code to get in (and out) but the keypads never work properly. The car gates open VERY slowly too.
So if you can deal with these minor problems and don't mind paying an arm and a leg, Highpointe Village is the place for you.
