It really is a pretty nice place to live

My husband and I have lived in this complex now for about one year and have enjoyed living here overall. It is true that the apartments do not have the best insulation (and that is annoying) but the grounds and the office staff are exceptional. I have honestly lived in several apartment complexes in other major cities, and I have to say that the office staff here has truly impressed me from day one. I also love the fact that this is a true gated community and is more secure than other places I have lived. It was also nice to see that when we had all the snow and ice this winter, the grounds crews were out that day/evening clearing the parking lots and salting the walk ways.
The only complaints I have about this complex is:
- the parking (can't have a lot of guests over if you want them to have places to park)
- the train whistles late at night (but I actually got used to them after a few weeks)
- insulation (we've had to keep our thermostat up pretty high in the winter just to stay reasonably warm, and we can hear the neighbors next door sometimes)
- rent is quite a bit higher here than I've paid at other places in the past, but I DO think that the saying is true that you get what you pay for.
