Glad we moved

As in some of the other reviews, maintenance has a habit of walking in without knocking. The furnace needed to be fixed at least five times. The tenants before us had put a hole in the bathtub. Instead of replacing it, management saw fit to try to reseal it. The water from the bathtub drained right into the fireplace. They tried to fix it but never did. There were birds in the bathroom vent and maintenance was called to deal with it. They came over but never did anything about it. I finally had to remove the birds myself. Grounds maintenance cut the cable while trimming hedges. The ceiling in one of the bathrooms was falling down and took the management over a month to fix it. In the summer time you can expect brown grass all over while the other complexes are deep green. I guess the cost of water was too much.
Before our lease was up and keys turned into the office, the go ahead was given to refinish the apartment and our property was removed from the unit. We found out that maintenance was using the property to clean out other apartments. When we returned to finish cleaning the apartment, we had to wait in the office for a couple of hours to collect our property. Not all of the property was returned to us.
Between management and maintenance, Hunter's Pointe is not worth the rent. We are just glad it is over and would caution anyone considering moving there. I know there are rave reviews for the complex for the last two entries but the ending looks more like a form letter than anything else and the marks are reflective of it. A 50% rating is definately not a good sign. I can tell you that the same day we returned to retrieve our property, there was another very unhappy tenant at the office so I know we aren't the only ones.
