Over all not all that bad. However the maintenance has a problem finishing jobs. Their was a big puddle infront of washer and dryer that came with the apartment and when maintenance came to fix it they had the nerve to write on the reciept "Carpet wet from unloading out of washer to floor" But when I called and complained to the leasing agents about this it was fixed quickly after I called. When we moved in our apartment was infested with bedbugs we didn't have a problem till we moved into Hunter's pointe. The maintenance did their best getting rid of them but after I researched and researched I told them what it took to get rid of bedbugs and the maintenance man looked at me tilted his head and asked so what do you want me to do' I ended up taking care of the bedbugs myself allong with any other bugs that showed up. Maintenance is an issue and don't plan on getting out of your lease if you are transfered to another city, it won't happen trust me I know.

Thank you for your comments about Hunter's Pointe. I remember both situations in question. In regards to the bugs, I recall that we completed all of the necessary procedures. However, this type of situation is often aggravated when there is a pet in the home that goes in and out on a regular basis, as was the case.
In reference to the moving situation, Hunter's Pointe did release the resident that was moving to another city from the lease with no penalties. Our only requirement was a signed letter from the other two lease holders agreeing to take complete responsibility for the remaining lease terms.

Your right they did, I ended up being on 2 leases which didn't bother me much because i was only paying on one. But from my research on bed bugs, I found that they do not attach themselves to any pet or animal. Unless ofcourse the animal has been living in a bed bug infested living situation, it might cary the bug for a while. But we had no problems with bed bugs before we moved in, and after the exterminator showed us what they were I figured out how to get rid of them myself, and haven't had a problem since. But like you said it seemed to be an unfortunate event. I actually enjoyed living there, and you guys actually did give us teh option to relocate to a new apartment but we declined because we didn't want to sign a new lease.
