I lived in these apartments for over 3 years. For the first 3 months it was fine, then it started showing it's true colors. The buildings are not made well at all. The windows leaked condinsation and caused molding, when I brougt to the attention of the office staff, I was told just to wipe them down every week. The kitchen drawers came apart (they were glued together, not nailed) the back of the cabinets (other side of bar) came apart, the sides of the bar came off (again, glued), they put metal on the edge of all the walls which caused the crappy stuco jobe to come off the corners in bits and pieces. The little sink in one of the bedrooms leaked from the pipe into the cabinet and caused molding and the wierd thing is, the water to that sink was turned off when we moved in. There was blood splatter on the kitchen ceiling. The walls were taking on water and were leaking into our and other units causeing molding of the wall. I could hear animals in the ceiling and we were on the middle floor. The first month we were there, some drunk college kid fell from the balcony above ours and hit and broke our balcony and the porch railing underneath ours on his way to the ground (he was ok) and the complex never fixed them. I couldn't let my kid on the porch because it was dangerous, I didn't want it falling while he was on it. On one of the rare occassions the maintenance fixed something, it was my garbage disposal and it took them 6 months to come fix it and gave my husband the key for it and told him to fix it next time. Oh and the most obvious of things, every time it rained a little hard, the shingles on the roofs came off and instead of fixing them, the complex just put tarps on the roofs. I heard rumors that the city was trying to get rid of the complex because it dropped the value of the multimillion dollar houses across the street down. I'm not surprised. Oh, one more thing, as horrible as it was, they still felt the need to raise the rent each year. If anything happens to your car there, you're out of luck, there's no cameras in the parking lot and the staff is no help. An unknown driver ran over the front end of my car in the parking lot and thigs have happened to other tenants cars. The walls are paper thin.

They are in the process of putting new roofs on all of the buildings. They will be finished in the next two months.

why would you live there 3 years if you knew in 3 months that it sucked? that makes you stupid

the only reason we lived there for more than a year was because we couldn't afford the moving expenses.

some of the story has some back and forth moments...but hey I agree this place sucks!!!
