How did they Steal my Washer & Dryer'

On June 5, 2007 11:15am, I scheduled the pick up of Washer & Dryer on June 27, 20007.

The W & D was not picked up on June 27, 2007 due to Azuma Driver being unavailable.(I was NOT contacted by AZUMA).

I contacted AZUMA on June 28 or 29 about the W & D not being picked up as scheduled. They informed me that a driver was unavailable at that time and the next available pick up date was July 2, 2007. I told AZUMA I would no longer be living at The Lodge of Overland Park and they would need to schedule a pick up time with The Lodge.

-------- from the Lodge gave the approval for AZUMA to pick up the W & D on July 2, 2007.

I turned in the keys to Apartment 514 on June 30, 2007

AZUMA claimed they came on July 2 to pick up W & D the The Lodge of Overland Park did not have a key to get into Apartment 514.
Andrea from AZUMA claims the leasing agent from The Lodge did not give his/her name.

I was told by ------ of The Lodge of Overland Park on Monday, August 27 that the Maintenance Manager of The Lodge completed a walk-through the week of July 2nd but could not give me any specific date. The Maintenance Manager also claimed there was not a Washer & Dryer in the apartment at the time of walk-through.

The Lodge Management claims there is nothing they can do. Even though they agreed to let AZUMA pick up the Washer & Dryer on July 2 after I turned in my keys.

I have tried to discuss the situation with ----- (Manager of The Lodge). He said it is not his problem and he is too busy to talk to me. Apparently, THEFT at his apartment complex is not HIS problem.....

A/C Issues

Tuesday, May 22, 2007 4:30pm
Spoke with ------- at the Lodge about A/C issues. He said a work order would be turned in.

Tuesday, May 29, 2007
Spoke with front desk about A/C. Was informed that she was sorry it had not been fixed yet and there were several tenants that have been waiting longer to get A/C fixed.

Thursday, May 31, 2007
Spoke with front desk about A/C, said they would get on it as soon as possible.

Tuesday, June 5 9:30 am
Left a message for ----- to call me back. He never returned my call.

Tuesday, June 5, 2007 (Afternoon)
Called and spoke to -----. He said the A/C had been fixed. Said he would put $100 credit onto my account. When asked if there was a verification number or a letter could be sent, he laughed and said I was funny and then he told I could check the ledger for the credit.

Tuesday, June 5
I got home at approximately 10:00pm. The A/C had not been fixed.

Wednesday, June 6, 2007 9:30am
Called for -----, spoke with -------. ----- was on the phone. I told ------- I was very upset that I paid $830 for a storage unit (not even climate storage). ------- said he understood.

Wednesday, June 6, 2007 10:13am
------- called back to inform me that the lodge did not have a copy of my apartment key. He said the key must have been given it to a vendor and the vendor did not return it. He asked me to come back to my apartment to let ------ (maintenance) in. Since I am employed in Raytown, this is not as easy as suggested.

HAHA...as I sat down and read this it made me laugh because of how true all of this is! I currently live at the Lodge...and am currently looking for a new place to live! When I first moved in I was supposed to have a completely new apartment with everything new in it...with a washer and dryer! Yet when i moved in the counter tops were all messed up my doorknob fell off of my bathroom door as did my towel rack! My bedroom doors werent lined up correctly so it tore of the panel around it...my cable connections were covered and they tried to have me pay to put them in...luckily the young maintenance man Mike took care of some of this for me...only because he liked us and gave us his cell so we could call him directly! then my bathroom ceiling also leaked to where it almost fell in...after 2mnths they "fixed" it actually they spray painted it white so it wasnt brown anymore! I was infested with ants atleast 3 times...the 1st time i came home from work and my base boards to my floor were black because they were covered with ants..and my tables were covered with ants...when i talked to they office they said i cant do anything about it right now...are you kidding me! Also i didnt have a mailbox key for the 1st 4months that i lived here! my internet and cable NEVER work...and after 5 mnths of living there i still didnt have my washer and dryer...finally they put it in but it was too big and broke the shelf in my closet and stuck out of the closet door...so i had to take apart my closet completely and move the set back so that i could close the closet...now they are trying to evict me because someone damaged my neighbors property and they are trying to say it was me and my boyfriend when we were out of town when it happened...when we talked to ------ and ----- about it ----- had no restraint and yelled at us like we were idiots...he even went as far as to tell me to SHUT UP!!! Thats real professional!!! I would not recommend anyone moving here! EVER!!!

If you have any problems with the Lodge - you should contact Audrie Uddenberg - auddenberg@thelyndco.com She is the one that has to fix -----'s incompetency.
