This property needs so much work they would have to spend millions to bring it up to code. The staff has been turned over so that they have no knowlege of how bad the problems are and have been. The upper management refuses to spend the money to fix the apartments up and make them nice. My advice is this, if you are interested in this community, call the police and ask them about it and ask management to see every available apartment to see what you would actually end up with. The one bedrooms have no W/D. None of the refrigerators have ice makers. They have electrical problems and leak problems galore. You can find better for less. The strategies of this management company are to make you think there are alot of amenities to hook you in, but they really have no product. It is a complete disaster and a rip off!!!

I used to work on the maintenance staff there. We did a $200,000,000 renovation on the complex. Every apartment that was not leased got new paint, Carpet, Crown molding, Base boards, Doors, kitchen and bathrooms. As other leases expired we went in and renovated those as well. Absolutely gutted the old club house and rebuilt the entire inside. And if you bothered to listen to your leasing agent, They tell you 1 bedrooms do not have W/D in the units, But there are W/D's for everyone to use in every building. the 2bed/1bath has stack W/D units in the master bedroom closet. and the 2bed/2bath, 3bed/2bath units have full size W/D's with a laundry room in the unit. And cress no longer owns the complex so the new company got rid of that stupid idea the previous company did, And put back the dumpster units. You should be happy where you live. That place is the nicest place in all of overland park for its low rental cost. They also never once said the refrigerators had ice makers. Every complex I have seen is the same on that matter, You buy a ice tray and put it in the freezer. Was that so hard to do? There is also no making you think there are a lot of amenities because there are a ton of them. They even have a free daily continental breakfast buffet for all the tenets. They also have a security guard that drives around the complex the entire night to ensure everyone is safe and do not have any problems. The only problem with the complex is the parking. It can be a pain to find a place if you get there late at night. But that is it. Whoopty freaking do "I have to walk an extra 30-100 feet to get to my apartment."
