Granted, I have only been living here for 3 weeks so far, but I love it here. My roommate & I were shown the actual unit that we would be living in before we signed our lease, and it was encouraging to see maintenance doing work on the place before we moved in. With a few exceptions, the apartment was good-as-new when we moved in a week later. If you are expecting perfection anywhere, you won't find it; and yes, especially with cheaper properties, you will get what you pay for. However, the staff have been very professional and flexible with us so far. We've had our work orders completed within a short turnaround time. They appear to be doing a fine job of screening who they accept as tenants, as I have had very few problems with noise or neighbors. Despite the parking complaints in previous reviews, I am always able to find a space with 100 feet of my building (and I have a 2nd job during late nights as well). I'm currently on their wi-fi connection, which is very efficient.
My biggest complaint so far is that I almost stepped in dog crap when walking to the office to check my mail.
Again, no apartment complex is going to present the perfect living experience for anyone as long as there are so many tenants in one space; but, the staff here at the Lodge have been consistent in their efforts to make all tenants feel at home. Therefore I could easily recommend this complex to anyone.
