I never rented here but did take a tour. There were stray cats EVERYWHERE. I even remarked to the leasing staff gal that I saw about 4 of them just pulling in. She said that they knew there was a problem. Then I toured the 1 bedroom/1 bath model apartment. If the model apartment is any indication, the apartments are in serious need of some structrual repair. There is a prominent crack in the beam in the ceiling. The linoleum floor is very dated. The kitchens are TINY. When taking the tour, the leasing gal told me that the apartments are secure because entry to each building is locked. (I'm a single female so that's important to me.) The price was right so I decided to put money down on an apartment. Bad idea. The door to the apartment building where my apartment would be had a big glass window in it (not solid like the model) and the door wasn't even locked - I breezed right in! Plus the parking in that location was really bad. I decided to rent at Tuckaway in Shawnee -- much nicer, much newer, much bigger, w/d in the unit and they have a gated entrance--for about $100 more a month in rent.
