DO NOT LIVE HERE

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
We moved into these apartments in June one year. We thought we were getting a great deal, and everyone seemed so friendly, but...
You could hear EVERYTHING from our upstairs neighbors.
They say you can control the heating and cooling, but you cant. We turned our thermostat to 55, and our seperate thermometer would still register the temperature at well over 80 degrees.
They were supposed to replace the carpet and fence before we moved in, but that was never done, dont even think they cleaned the carpet before we moved in.
Bathrooms were mold infested and everything just felt grimey.
Our masterbath shower had a major leek behind the tiles in the pipes causing mold to grow through the walls into the kitchen, their solution--re-caulk the shower. After that didnt work they replaced the shower, but that took over a month and you couldnt use the bathroom at all.
Upstairs apartment was vacant after a few months when their second bathroom broke sending a flood into our apartment at 3 in the morning. Maintenance said we'll be out sometime tom. after persistance they came out that night, we thought theyd turn the water off---nope they decided to do major construction with hammers and drills at 3 in the morning. Finally tried to fix the upstairs apartment up, but would start early in the morning and were always dropping stuff on the floor, to where it sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in.
My car was broken into, knew many people who had the same problem. Parking was terrible, hard to find spots, people parked their junkers in mult spots to work on them, then left them there. ABSOLUTELY NO LIGHTING, there were nights when I would call someone to escort me in I was so nervous about walking through the complex after night.
Moral of the story: I can honestly say I would never reccomend anyone live here. The staff was very rude, maintenace slow and inconsiderate, unsafe apartments and area. I would never feel comfortable living here, it was so bad we broke our lease 6 months early to get out of there!
