I guess I would recommend-just know these things

We lived at Meadowlark Hill for 3 years. We had our fair share of bad experience while living there. For starters the office controls when the a/c gets turned on and they always wait until it has been hot too long and then they shut it off early September even though here in Kansas it remains very hot all the way thru September. Also they are HORRIBLE about making repairs. I called in and said that water was leaking thru the ceiling from the upstairs neighbor's bathroom and it took them MONTHS to fix it. The office staff is also very rude.
The reason why I say I guess I would recommend it is because the price is pretty decent for the area. It includes all utilities excpept phone and cable. It's really nice to not have to worry about how much the electric bill is going to be every month. Also the apartments are pretty big compared to the newer apartments out there. The biggest plus is the near by elementry school. Brookridge is the best elementry school you could ask for. As far as it being in a safe area-it is. I am a young mother and I didn't have a problem taking my kids for a walk around the neighborhood or to the park without my husband. So all in all I don't regret living there but it certainly could use some improvements.
