Worse than the Apartment in "Good Times"

I never believed in the phrase "hell on earth" until I moved here. The entire complex is a haven to drug dealers and mad street gangs. Two times in one month, a neighbor kid threw a football through the back window of my new Maxima. When I moved in, I was told the entire apartment had been cleaned and recondtioned. Evidently they forgot to clean the patio door because there were two dead mice laying in the door well. The indoor pool is constantly filthy and there are three Mexican fat kids who monopolize its use. The "rec" room provides little recreation as the pool tables and ping pong tables have no balls, pool sticks or ping pong paddles. I broke my lease and left without giving notice. Two months later the attorney for the complex called me and said that I was being sued. I told him I felt my life was in danger and he agreed and made me pay only $200-- a small price to pay to escape the white trash capital of Overland Park.
