It has always been painfully hot on the nights where the temperature did not fall under 80. This is something I fully understand, if they're paying the cooling bill.
The first year was great... On time everything, nice management... Then things turned south as you've likely read. They hired some bulldyke, dirtstupid manager, who was rude and insulting to everyone who was currently paying rent.
The maintenance calls would take months (and some haven't been answered despite our periodic requests, since '05).
The last time we asked was in person in the office, and the nice young lady working there basically said "I know it's not acceptable, but the only way to get it done is to keep reporting it."
You control your thermostat when the heater is turned on (as opposed to AC, which can't be active at the same time... They chose what day to switch from AC to Heat). IF you want your apartment below 75 in the summer, you're out of luck. That is, Unless you get an indoor unit (which is grounds for immediate eviction, should they see it).
The laundry machines in the basement are horrible, and the company (Jetz) they've contracted with jacked the prices up, while at the same time keeping the same ------ machines. I can only assume the complaints about Jetz have been ignored, is because they commission for the complex is good.
This year, when it stayed colder into April (and the same late this summer), the Heat was turned off, making it, I think, illegally cold at night.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. It's no longer a pretty landscape, no longer a clean environment outside, and thus, no longer worth the rent they like to charge. I've been in FAR shittier apartment complexes.
Although I wouldn't doubt those that claim it, I've never seen a roach or mouse inside.
The low rating in maintenance is for delays, not poor work.

My kids moved to this complex awhile ago and I was wanting to check and see what goes on? Is the management good? I see that maintenance lacks some. Is it budget problems or lazy people? If you have any more info on this place please post more. Thanks

I lived at these apartments with my girlfriend for a year and it was horrible. Like you said the maintenance would take forever to get done if even at all. I complained many times about how hot it was and they said they would fix it and never did. The last time I call about this they then told me that it's normal for it to be that hot. Parking was a joke if you got there after about 8 or 9 p.m. This place is horrible.

i have lived here for two years. i can't speak for these other people but i can say....the heat works just fine, the ac is not always as cool as you would like it to be but i don't think 70*-72* is too hot either when its in the 100's outside. just like any house if you close your blinds when its that hot out and keep your doors shut it does not get as hot in your apartment. maintenance was i little slow during the summer months but seems to be around 1-3 days for small things and within a couple hours for big things. i have also read on her people say they have bugs...my advice is clean your houses! i have lived in two different spots in this place and i have never had roaches. i keep my house clean and don't leave dishes or food out. i have my place sprayed for bugs once every 3 months just because....its free! the complex has some guy come do it on thursdays all you have to do is call. i am going on my third year here and i plan to stay. the apartments are huge, price is right, why wouldn't i?
