Ohh where do I start. Lets start with my first night there when I came home to my apt to see roaches scattered on the kitchen floor and on the countertops. We called the 24 hr. maintence to hear that nothing could be done so I left to go to a motel. Yes, the first night pebblebrook did pay for the motel but not for the other 2 nights I had to stay or for all my food the roaches had ruined.

Another HUGE problem was my hot water heater. After a day at work I walk in to my heaters wires smoldering and my apt. smoking. I called maintence and the guy laughingly said this is the last original 23 year old heater in the place! why was it not replaced before'' He said he had "fixed" the heater till late in the night a week later the same thing happened. I had no hot water so again off to the motel I went on my own expenses. After a month of deliberating I finally got the water heater. After moving out I find that the Apartment manager had said not to replace the dangerous appliance.

Another occurance that ended up being held against me when I moved was my toilet overflowing. It had leaked into my carpet the maintence had come to fix my toilet and dry out the carpet in the middle of the night. The fans to dry the carpet were loud 20 min. later I had the police at my door which turned into a infraction on my file. The other infraction was when my fingers had been smashed in the door of my car and I had screamed for obvious reasons. The managment team seemed not to care why the police were there but they did see that I was being loud and wrote me a infraction.

The paint job inside was less than adequate seeing that I had to call and have them come paint so I would not be charged later for there mistakes. When they painted it was the wrong color and was left the wrong color for one year! My porch looked as if it was not even painted seeing as most of the peeling paint flew off into the grass below.

After 3 months of living there my bedroom light burnt out. then the bathroom light and then the closet light. The mainentence came and "fixed" my bedroom light with taking out the porch light and puting it in. It burnt out a day later seeing as the watts were not correct for that light and I no longer had a porch light. The bathroom and closet light were to be fixed on that Friday due to electrical difficulties. Well that Friday never came. It was fun trying to get ready in the kitchen early in the morning seeing as thats where my light was.

Now we move to the kitchen. the handle of the sprayer and faucet would fall off. My father was the one who ended up fixing the problems and I ended up buying the new sprayer. The maintence had fixed it once but obviosly did another cheap fix. Also cheaply fixed were the garbage disposals. it would literally shoot everything up and was never messed with again after the first time.

The only point I agree with is bridgette. She is WONDERFUL, educated and very friendly towards everyone she talks with. Lauren is also a great asset to price bro. managment.

Why I still sit here questioning why I needed 500k worth of insurance for a 500 square ft. apt. I think I was covering for there cheap ways. Would I have had to pay with my insurance if there faulty water heater burnt down the complex''I do have to say that I did have GREAT neighbors but other that that it was the worst experience of my life!

I lived at Pebblebrook too and had even WORSE problems...bugs, water heater, sink, laundry machine, wasps, no air conditioning in JULY! You name it...it happened...but I do agree Bridgette was GREAT!
