I am getting ready to become a resident at Plaza Gardens South. I put down a deposit on a specific place, got my address, started making arrangements to move. 1 week before I'm supposed to move, I find out from the NEW property management that apparently the current occupant is not moving. The old property management group, Schlup, re-signed a lease with the current occupant 3 weeks after I was told the apartment was on notice and that it was mine effective August 1, 2006. The new management company has had to take the fall for the situation Luke and the past leasing agents with Schlup were responsible for making. I have spoken with Luke on MULTIPLE occasions since I originally put down the deposit up until yesterday when I found out I was not going to get the apartment I wanted.
The new management company has been VERY VERY helpful and has tried to make me comfortable in this most unpleasant situation. Thank God for them! I think for current residents you will see a positive change when the new management company gets all the kinks straightened out. They have been truly fabulous.
