I lived at Bella Palazzo (formerly Plaza Gardens South) for over two years and absolutely loved living there. I truly don't understand what all the bad reviews are about! The units are IDENTICAL to the models that are in the club house. They are the most spacious apartments you will find in South Johnson county and are beautiful. Every unit has newer, upgraded appliances, at least one jetted bath tub, crown molding, high ceilings, ample storage space, a central vac, and a beautiful brick fireplace with stone accents. I also loved the 24 hour fitness center and the steam shower. The outdoor pool was also very large and well-maintained. The monthly brunch was usually catered by a local restaurant and was always delicious. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful--if you have a problem with maintenance, call the office and they will take care of it immediately! It is ridiculous that people are complaining about problems which they never even contacted maintenance about! Someone was complaining about spider webs--as though it is Bella Palazzo's fault that a spider got into your apartment. Scott would have been happy to spray for bugs if you had just called the office and asked. Maintenance at Bella Palazzo was always great--any time I had a problem, it was always resolved within 24 hours. Go to the leasing office, talk with the staff, and look at the models--you will not be disappointed!
