Looks nice but it is a facade

My lease is up this summer and I will not be resigning. The day after I moved in (the VERY NEXT day) the knob on my bath tub split in half, forcing me to use a screwdriver until it was fixed. I called maintenance once weekly for the next THREE MONTHS before I finally got it fixed! I also did not have a working microwave in my apartment until then and my calls were in regard to that as well.
In addition, I have been fighting with bugs that look like silverfish without wings since I moved in. Yesterday, I found a steady stream of ants marching in under my living room window. Today, my son had welts all over his body from bites...I called the office about this today. I am interested to see how long it will take before they actually show up! Also, while in the clubhouse the other day, a fellow resident told me he found mice in his apartment and the guy above him had roaches.
Aside from these issues, the complex is quite for the most part. Parking is difficult on Fridays and Saturdays. I live in the front part, but the back half is very sketchy. The complex has 20 someodd buildings and ONE trash compactor to accomidate everyone, you will most likely have to make a special car trip to take your trash out. Oh, and the dishwashers suck... I pre-rinse everything that goes in, to the point it looks clean, but somehow when I empty the washer, there is gross stuff stuck to my dishes. I've switched brands, types (dry and liquid), and used JetDry...nothing has helped.
I have never had a problem with management, other than feeling ignored for 3 months. There are worse places to live, but there are also better.
