I lived here for 3 years when I first moved to Kansas City, and I couldn't have been happier with it. I moved away for 2 years to be closer to work, and recently came back. I have to agree, it is definitely much worse than it was. I called or walked in 5 or 6 times to tell them to remove my washer/dryer and microwave before the movers came, and nothing was done. They had just over a week, and couldn't get it done. I finally just had the movers put their washer and dryer outside on the sidewalk as I had no alternative.

They are upgrading some things inside the apartments, which are nice, but the outsides of most buildings are in sad states of disrepair.

I also now remember the nightmare that parking is. There are so many covered spots that you can either buy one yourself, or fight for the handful of free parking places.
