We moved on very short notice and picked this place out of desperation.... If you're under 60 years old this is NOT the place for you. Interior is very dated 1970's, dark wood, scarey wallpaper and light fixtures. They have not renovated at all. We are in our mid 30's with a baby and ALL of the amenities - pool, fitness room, and the office have stairs. So if you have a child or disabled forget living here because you can't get to anything. The staff overall is very rude and acted like they really didn't want to be there! I tried to avoid them at all costs. In closing, If you're over 60 and you want to be transported back to the 1970's Regents Walk is the place for you. Everyone else you've been warned

I'm a little under 60 and I like the scariness of the place, especially the light fixtures, but I hate the chemical smells. I am female, but I really could like those office witches if they let me change my locks.

I'm in my 30's and it may be retro on the surface, but the buildings are much better constructed (and insulated) than ANYTHING else I've seen in rental property in the area (I've seen a LOT)- and have stood the test of time. The rest is all cosmetic- they are in the process of new roofs & new wooden siding/ painting to brighten it up. (Maybe the interiors are next?) Also the most SQ footage and best balconies/ patios anywhere in JOCO land (HUGE). Yes, codes for handicapped access were different (as in non-existent) when the place was built.
Sure one or two office personnel would greatly benefit from "charm school" - or maybe just a good massage once a week, but some are very nice too. You just have to know who is there and when, and choose your contact times with care.
I prefer old and sturdy with a few "wrinkles" to a "trendy new thrown together overnight & worry about the next stiff wind taking it down kind" of place. Wherever you go, there is some kind of trade-off, you just have to weigh your options and choose what is important to you.
