We moved here 7 months ago. When we first moved in here it had some issues. We reported them. Maintanance didn't show for a matter of weeks. Then when they did, they looked at the problems, fixed 1 or 2 of the easy stuff then told me that they needed to get some hardware for the others. Ok, not a problem. I figured that they would be back in a day or 2. I am a reasonable person, so 48 hours had passed, then 96 hours (4 days), then a week, then a month. That was 6 months ago. I have reported the problems about 6 times since maintenance said that they would be back and they have been here once or twice since then for other problems that have come up. Each time they have said that they will be back to fix the others. We have lived here (paying an ungodly amount of money) since April. Each time that I have called they have made more and more excuses as to why the first (Seven Month Old) problems have not been taken care of. It is my responsibility to pay my rent, not babysit the staff and call them everyday that they do not show up. Finally, at the end of my rope, I didn't know what to do.
On the advice of a friend, I called a lawyer. If you call the staff of Sheridan Ridge, they will probably tell you that I am just disgruntled or that they have just replaced their staff to take care of the problems. Whatever.
When I told the staff of my intentions to seek legal council to resolve the matters in a more judicial way they said that they will be over on Monday to fix all of the problems that I reported so long ago. Funny how threatening legal action has that effect. They had seven months to take care of them. Now I cannot get copies of my maintenence tickets to prove my point to the attorney. Other complexes owned by Price Management may not be the same way, but this one is. You can ask almost anyone that lives here. They will summarize what I have said.
Some of the other problems are bugs, (cockroaches to be specific, and we are clean people they were here when we moved in (maybe we should charge them rent so that we can pay for the attorney, but they even complain about this dump), even the staff has acknowledged the bug infestation), parking just flat out sucks (sorry, not to be blunt, but there is no other way to put it.), sometimes there is a strong odor of ripe garbage that would make Oscar the Grouch vomit, and noise (the noise problem isn't that bad though).

Don't forget to read the "Disclaimer" that they have posted below this one. Granted, I can see a few disgruntled people that may malicously post on this site, but to recieve a 41% with 26 posts proves to me that there are real tennant complaints there.
I would believe what other tennants have written simply because we live here. But, you read what has been posted and make a decision about what you believe. I have only posted because of the actions and responses of the staff and maintanence at Sheridan Ridge Townhomes.

**Update: Monday Morning 08:00:
The Manager and the Lead Maintanence Tech showed up ready to dig in and solve the problems at hand. We did a walk through, they made a punchlist of the things that required fixing. They were both very polite and listened to every problem that was listed. The Lead Tech said that he was sorry that the problems had taken so long to be attended to and would right all of the wrongs. He had to leave to get some hardware and said that he would return shortly. More updates to follow.
