Living in a litter box...
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/17/2006
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
When we moved in there was cat litter all over the carpet upstairs and downstairs and cat pee in the vents. The carpets were not cleaned whatsoever, not even vaccuumed. We asked that this be taken care of and were told it would delay our already promised move in date. Having a moving truck in the parking lot with all of our possessions loaded into it from a different city, a delay in moving in was not an option for us so we were forced to start unpacking. This was never taken care of and our dogs, as any dog would do, marked over the cat urine and we got stuck with over a $600 bill upon move out. We fought and fought this matter after we moved out and was told a manager would contact us. After never hearing back we called again, again we were told a manager would contact us but never received a call. An entire year later we were finally contacted by a manager threatening to send us to collections if the full balance was not paid. We paid because we were in the process of buying a new home and if there had been a hit on our credit report it would have meant losing the house we were weeks away from closing on. This was just one of the several problems we tangled with management on, overall the upkeep of the townhouse by maintainance was sub par, I would not recommend living here unless your pockets are deep b/c they'll take ya.
