I resided at this complex for over 2 years. It was a pleasant experience until the property was sold to new owners. My apartment flooded twice. The first incident ocurred with the previous owners/management. They took care of me on my losses. The second time it flooded, it destroyed a $6,000.00 oriental rug. New management/ownership stated that it happened previous to their owning the property, so it was not their responsibility. My insurance company would not pay because it was due to poor construction, per a bonafide structural engineer's report they had performed. Contacting the previous owners, they stated they were not responsible and referred me to new ownership. As for the mold, it developed over a period of time due to frequent flooding. For all I know, I may have diminished lung capacity from living there. I have been short of breath since. The new manager is exceptionally hateful. The new owners is a firm call Capreit, and it seems half the home office staff are lawyers. Need I say more' I am in the process of suing for the destruction of the rug. It's a shame they refuse to live up to their responsibilities. I WOULD URGE ALL RESIDENTS AND PROSPECTIVE RESIDENTS (MAY GOD HELP YOU) TO GO TO THE OFFICE AND INSIST THAT YOUR APARTMENT BE TESTED FOR DANGEROUS MOLD BY A 3RD,PROFESSIONAL, DISINTERESTED MOLD INSPECTION SERVICE. In other words, don't let them convince you that their inbred maintenance folk can do it. Your health too important for their Gomer to do the inspection. After all, they can't even fix a toilet.

I'm glad I caught this review. I researched the parent company (Capreit) only to find they have had unresolved complaints at the Better Business Bureau.
