Good experience after nearly a year.

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
We just received our upcoming lease expiration letter. Rent going up only $20/mo if we re-up for a year, which I don't figure is too bad -- only a 3% increase.
I've been fairly satisified with the apartment. Neighbors are great, grounds are well-kept and actually very pleasant, pools are maintained and in our experience this summer, not very crowded at all.
The thermostat is in a wierd spot and does fluctuate wildly--but it is an old mechanical/mercury thermostat and I've not requested an update yet, which I think would help.
Other than some silly letters from the office about how we can't have patio furniture on our patio (I know, its crazy) we've had a good experience with maintenance calls and other questions being responded too quickly and with courtesy.
Traffic from Metcalf can be loud if you live on the east side of the complex but otherwise a terrific neighborhood. Can go walking W on 115th or just around the apartments and have a very nice evening. Great restaraunts nearby, as well as PriceChopper and Walmart within a block or so walking.
If we didn't need more space due to family growing I'd really consider staying. We did quite a bit of research when we moved here and visited no less than 25 different apartment complexes. This one edged out the Lodge of OP and a couple others, primarly due to a combination of price and location, and I've been happy with the selection. Have recommended to others and will continue to do so.
