Unfortunately I have lived here for almost four years. In years past the management was friendly, often hosting pool parties with beverages and food provided, kept up with maintenance requests, etc. Now management/maintenance is HORRIBLE!!!! In the three bedroom apartments area of the apartment complex there are piles upon piles of dead pine needles from the dead pine trees that they refuse to take care of, or just chop down, since they are dead, just sitting there, killing off the grass. They never rake the leaves, and let the pine needles kill all living things so that everytime it rains it floods because there is no grass, just dirt! The kids thought they would build a fort out of the massive amounts of pine needles, to get the apartment complex to realize there seems to be a problem with landscaping, and two weeks later, their fort is still there and the apartment complex doesn't care that the landscape is dying because of their lazyness. You will also be fined if you have flowers on your patio, but dead pine needles are okay, pretty flowers.....NOT OKAY! The manager is such a snotty person, you could give her a compliment and she would look at you funny, you could complain about something and she would look at your funny. She's rude, snotty, and down right hateful at times. She knows nothing about her actual job. This place is hell in Overland Park, if you can afford it, look elsewhere, this is not worth the cheap price, because that's all it is........CHEAP with a lot of headaches! Parking is horrible, after 10 p.m. there is nowhere to park except the public street, maintenance, if it even exists is horrible, and management, straight out rude, crude, and it just makes my stomach turn looking at their faces! As soon as my lease is up, I AM OUT OF HERE!!!!!!
