We never actually moved in....but that would be due to the massive cockroach infestation in the apartment we were getting ready to move into!!! After admitting to knowing that there was a cockroach issue in the unit, the property manager told me that they had been assured by the pest company that the issue had been resolved. So, this is my first question: After the pest company came in, where were all the cockroaches going to go''' Were they supposed to vanish into thin air' Or, were they going to die in the cabinets and closets and all over the floor' Needless to say, they don't vanish. There were plenty of live cockroaches too- in the cabinets, crawling on the cabinets, on the baseboards in all the rooms and even falling off the ceiling...gross!!!

The way that the situation was handled by the property manager at Springhill was immature and unprofessional to say the least. She would not return my phone calls regarding how and when I would receive the refund of the application fee and the deposit to hold the roach apartment. After calling and leaving messages for Lori...and being told my check was in the mail by other staff at the complex, I still had not received my check a week after I was promised it. I called the office...Lori, the property manager, actually answered the phone and said she would e-mail her accountant to find out what happened and would "call me right back, it might take an hour though". Never called me back. I called later that week and left two messages for her...no return call. So I called Nolan Real Estate directly. All I can tell you is that if you need something to be handled in a timely manner speak with Kyle. Lori called me back within 10 minutes of my conversation with the president of the property management company. My check was received via overnight UPS the next day.
